'Dring-Dring' presents a yellow telephone box in the middle of a lush landscape. This work is part of the 'Absurd' series, in which the artist questions the nonsense of the presence of man-made objects in a natural environment and their impact. Although telephone boxes are rare in today's world, their presence also evokes mobile phones and modern means of communication. In Dring-Dring, the artist questions our relationship with telecommunications, but also the environmental pollution required to produce and use them.
