Unexpected Sprouting
Unexpected Sprouting emerges from a contemplation of the growth and emergence processes, manifesting in both objects and individuals. In this condensed cold tones mural sculpture, pistachio-green fabric “bubbles” appear to "sprout" atop other “bubbles”, symbolizing a reciprocal and mutually beneficial development. Once again, Samuel reminds us that even in the midst of adversity and hardship, opportunities, both personal and social, can emerge, and that only in solidarity can these opportunities truly bear fruit.
